Hi love,
Hope you've been enjoying summer ~ has yours been as busy as ours?
Regardless, we're excited to feature a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from Nguisse & a sweet Kenyan coffee from Tekangu & Tegu.
We've been working a lot over here, and have something special to share with you in the near future, we can't share everything just yet, but if we're a bit quiet online - this is why.
Hope August brings you so much love and abundance.

Let's dive in
A Moment to Reflect:
For the last few weeks, things have felt stressful. There's a lot going on in our work and life (all for the best) and it's taking up lot's of mental space.
This lead to a period of burn-out that I couldn't seem to escape.
After a weekend away, celebrating the love of some dear friends, I came to realize (thanks to some deep conversations) that I had not been living by my own motto: Honouring Daily Rituals.
I had been so consumed by everything going on that I stopped giving time to the very things that keep me... me.
Yoga, meditation, deep breathing, quiet time...
In the coming days, weeks, months, it's my goal to continue honouring my daily rituals ~ because I know that when I do, I feel whole, and I have an abundance of energy for the things I want to do.
I hope you too are... honouring your daily rituals. 🤍

Coffee Variety & Processing
During harvest season, smallholder farmers deliver ripe coffee cherries of the SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 & Batian varieties to Tegu for processing. The coffees are sorted to ensure quality before de-pulping and further processing. After a 16-24 hour fermentation, the coffees are washed and soaked (second wash) in separate tanks, helping to develop the recognizable crisp acidity usually found in high-quality Kenyan coffees. Finally, the coffee is shade dried on raised drying beds and manually rotated every few hours.
